Everything to do with WETLANDS
Publications by Sainty and Associates
This is a very rare plant that grows only in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. This plant was found by Geoff Sainty while swimming in an obscure pond in the Kimberleys.
This plant is featured in our book ‘Waterplants in Australia – A Field Guide’.
Short-beaked Echidnas are found in Australia, including Tasmania, and Papua New Guinea.
This Echidna is found along with 1100 other animals and plants in our wonderful little book, that is suitable to take with you into the bush, called ‘Burnum Burmun’s WILDthings’.
Sydney Olympic Northern Wetland
This is a constructed wetland which was designed in the shape of a waterplant for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
This is mentioned in the chapter ‘Wetlands for stormwater management: water, vegetation and mosquitoes – a recipe for concern’ in our book ‘Waterplants in Australia’.
